Class 12th exams begin, 19,469 students appear on first day

Students enthusiastically appeared the paper of Madhya Pradesh Higher Secondary Education Examination 2024. Total 19,469 students are appearing the examination at total 104 examination centres in the district including 56 centres in rural and 48 centres in urban area. The education department has established total 96 examination centres of regular students and 8 centres for private students and total 11 centres has been identified as sensitive centres including 8 centres of private and 3 centres of regular students.
 
Collector, Deepak Saxena has appointed his representatives in different areas with an aim to ensure uninterrupted operation of examination and checking use of cheating and any other unethical practices during the examination. District Education Officer Jabalpur monitored the situation during the examination while SDMs conducted inspection at different examination centres in their respective areas. Similarly, separate flying squads conducted random search at different examination centres for checking unethical practices. Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has also issued a toll-free number 18002330175 to hear the grievances of students and protecting them from exam phobia.
 
Besides this, Police Department is also keeping eye for maintaining law and order arrangements near examination centres. Students have been directed for reaching at their respective examination centres before 45-minutes of starting examination. Students are allowed to enter the examination hall after their rigorous checking for avoiding entry of any kind of digital means or other objectionable stuff inside the examination hall.
