Rakesh Singh performs bhoomipujan of 40 projects worth Rs 162.30 crore

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth about Rs 16,961 crore in Madhya Pradesh. Live telecast of the programme and symbolic inauguration of development works under the historic event also conducted in the East Assembly in Jabalpur. State PWD Minister, Rakesh Singh, who is also the MLA of the Assembly performed bhoomipujan and inauguration of as many as 40 construction projects, amounting Rs 162.30 crore at Nagapal Garden in Madan Mahal.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Singh said today a historic ceremony of bhoomipujan and inauguration of projects worth 16,961 crores was conducted virtually by Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for the development of Madhya Pradesh. He said initiating development project with such a substantial amount is historical and assured that soon other pending development projects would also witness the same ceremonies.

 

The State PWD Minister said during Prime Minister Modi’s ten-year historic tenure, India’s prestige has risen significantly. India, which was once the 11th largest economy globally, is now the 5th largest, a testament to Modi’s commitment to making India the world’s third-largest economy, bringing unprecedented changes in economy and education. Highlighting development and facilities in Jabalpur, Singh said the bhoomipujan of a new 460 crore railway station building, surpassing the quality of the airport, equipped with 30 lifts and 40 escalators. He said Jabalpur has transformed from a big village to a metropolitan city. he said construction of State’s largest railway station, biggest Flyover and Ring Road, country’s first geological park and construction of the DPR for the ropeway, all is happening in Jabalpur.
