Chartered Accountants are not only backbone of economy but also sentinel to prevent economic offences, said Commissioner of Police Ravinder Singal, while speaking at an interactive meet with newly qualified Chartered Accountants at a session organised by ICAI Nagpur Branch at Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines Nagpur recently. Dr Ravinder Singal congratulated the Chartered Accountants and remarked that Chartered Accountancy is the profession of ethics. “To become Chartered Accountant it needs a lot of patience and perseverance but once you achieve the qualification sky is the limit,” said CA Jaydeep Shah, Past President, ICAI.
 
CA Akshay V Gulhane, Chairman of Nagpur Branch, remarked that one should not forget the sacrifices of parents while celebrating success. CA Abhijit Kelkar, Regional Council Member; Mukesh Ashar, Motivator and Presentation skills Expert, motivated the members. CA Girish Vazalwar, CA Rajesh PDM Agrawal were present. CA Dinesh Rathi, Vice-Chairperson, coordinated the programme while CA Swaroopa Wazalwar, Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
