Entrepreneurs in the region seems to be aggressively working on expanding their businesses here as they have signed memorandum of undersigned (MoUs) with the concerned authorities. In a special function titled ‘Nagpur District Investors Summit’ held here at Vanamati in the city, companies including Novasis, Mother Dairy, Confidence Group, Colour Shine India, Vaibhav Plasto, R C Plasto Tanks, SBL Energy and others have signed MoUs for investments of about Rs 7,500 crore. The Directorate of Industries in association with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) conducted the event to bring together key stakeholder, industry experts and potential investors to explore opportunities for economic growth and development within the district.
District Collector Dr Vipin Itankar addressed the gathering and shared details of MoUs signed by the industries and also exchanged the MoU with the investors.
Earlier, Sanjay Thul of the CGST Department, Nagpur; G O Bharti, Joint Director of Industries; VIA President Vishal Agrawal; COSIA Vidarbha Chairman CA Julfesh Shah; LUB, Nagpur Chairman Ravleen Singh Khurana, and BMA President Nitin Lonkar also addressed the stakeholders, industrial fraternity
and entrepreneurs present on the occasion.
