After being released from prison, two burglars became active again and burglarised houses in Pardi and other places. Pardi Police have arrested two people in this case and disclosed six house burglaries. The house burglary was reported at the house of Deviprasad Gobryasaw Jamunpani (45), a resident of Plot No 192, Maroti Society, Ambe Nagar. While he was away in Balaghat with his family, unidentified thieves forcibly entered his locked house. The culprits broke the locks of the door and made off with valuables worth Rs one lakh. Pardi Police registered a case under sections 454, 457, and 380 of the IPC and launched a probe.
During the investigation, the police received a confidential information which led to identification of the accused Mohd Fayyaz Ejaz Ansari (22), a resident of Gangabagh, Pardi, and Afroz Shamshad Ansari (22), a resident of Girja Nagar, Bhandewadi. The accused not only confessed to the house burglary but also admitted to their involvement in other crimes, including a vehicle theft case in Wathoda, a burglary at Nandanvan, and three more crimes in Kanhan and Kuhi. The police seized a stolen bike from their possession.
