The inauguration of the new building of Pardi branch of the Girnar Urban Credit Cooperative Society Ltd was on the occasion of Gajanan Maharaj Prakat Din observed recently. Along with this, inauguration of the Shree Gajanan Mauli Computer Centre run by Shree Gajanan Maharaj Bahudhesiya Shikshan Sanstha was also performed. Sandeep Patil, Inspector General of Police, State Anti-Naxal Operation; Sunil Mendhe, Member of Lok Sabha; Kakasaheb Koyate, Chairman of Maharashtra State Cooperative Credit Societies; Krushan Khopde, MLA; Rajendra Ghate, President of Nagpur District Credit Co-operative Society and Girnar Credit Society; and others were also present.

 

Girnar Urban Credit Cooperative Society has recently won the prestigious award of the State Government ‘Sahakar Nishta Puruskar’. It has also being awarded ‘A’ rating in audit for the last 22 years. It has a business mix of Rs 145 crore and deposits of Rs 38 crore. It CRAR id 25.52 per cent. The society is also engaged in various social activities like offering ambulance facilities to needy persons, running computer training centre, etc. Dimpal Ghate conducted the proceedings of the function.
