Anti-Evasion Bureau of State GST Jabalpur is still examining the documents of M/s Three Sixty Five Pvt Ltd and hopeful for finding more transactions of GST evasion amounting in crores of rupees. The Anti-Evasion Bureau of State GST already recovered evaded tax of Rs 7.25 crore from the owner of private company for discrepancy of Rs 40 crore during a raid at office of the private company, on February 29. State GST, Joint Commissioner, Ganesh Singh Kanwar informed that the firm owner had paid the initially calculated taxation amount of Rs 7.25 crore. During the raid, team had found the discrepancy amounting to Rs 40 crore. The company owner has been given time of 90 days for presenting more documents and transaction records for further examination while Anti Evasion Bureau is still examining the seized documents and records. They are hopeful for finding more irregularities and recovery of more tax accordingly.
 
Earlier, AVB team raided the office of private company engaged in mobile recharge and internet recharge services of telecom companies and revealed huge discrepancy amounting to Rs 40 crore in GST return. The firm named Ms Three Sixty Five Technology Pvt Ltd and its office is situated at near St Gabriel School, Chandan Colony Ranjhi. The raid was conducted under the direction of Commissioner, SGST under supervision of Joint Commissioner, GS Kanwar and Assistant Commissioner, Manish Jain under Section 67(2). According to State GST Jabalpur, Ms Three Sixty Five Technology Pvt Ltd is engaged in providing recharge service of telecom companies include Idea-Vodafone, Airtel and JIO. In the primary examination of GSTN Portal and GST Prime, they have found huge difference in inward supply and outward supply.
 
Acting on the basis of evidences, Anti Evasion Bureau team raided the office of private firm and found irregularity amounting to Rs 40 crores in actual outward supply shown in GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. The firm owner has paid the amount of Rs 7.25 crore while further scrutiny of record is underway to ascertain the actual taxable amount and financial penalty. The raid was conducted by team comprised of Assistant Commissioner, Ravindra Sanodiya, Arvind Khatik, Sandeep Ghanghoria, Pratibha Narveti and Commercial Tax Inspector, Rina Khamparia.
