Advocate Manish Mishra elected to the post of District Bar Association (DBA) President in the election of new executive of District Bar Association, Jabalpur. He hoisted the flag of victory by taking the lead from the first round. Mishra was declared victorious with 955 votes, leaving behind his rivals R K Singh Saini, Narendra Jain and Rajesh Upadhyay. After winning the election, he along with supporters reached the Hanuman temple located in District Court premises. His supporters loaded Mishra with garlands.
 
It is noteworthy that voting for the new executive of the District Advocates Association 2024-26 was held on March 18. In which four candidates were in the fray for the post of President. There was a contest between former District Bar President R K Singh Saini, Manish Mishra, Narendra Jain and Rajesh Upadhyay. On Tuesday, counting of votes for the post of President started in the afternoon. Manish Mishra has started taking the lead from the first round of counting after the tally of votes at around 2 pm. In the first round, Manish Mishra had left his rivals wondering by securing 52 votes. After this, Manish maintained his lead till the last round and won by securing 955 votes.
 
After the 20th round, the round of congratulations had started among the supporters of Mishra. Counting was done under the supervision of Chief Electoral Officer Sampoorna Tiwari, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Tiwari along with Co-electoral officers. 25 bundles of 100 ballot papers were made. 2460 ballot papers were counted in which 11 votes were rejected. N B Gurung, Tarun Rohitas, Surendra Tripathi, Pradeep Jain, P P Budholia, Umashankar Rawat, Arpit Tiwari, Nizamuddin, Pawan Sharma provided assistance in counting of votes.
