Two separate incidents of fire occurred in Bhopal on Tuesday, causing significant damage. The first incident occurred near Chetak Bridge in the MP Nagar area. Late Monday night, a fire erupted in the Mechanic Market, engulfing two shops and three cars. One of the burnt car was brought to the mechanic for repairs, while the others belonged to a resident living near the shops.

 

Upon receiving the alert, the fire brigade team from the municipal corporation rushed to the scene and managed to control the blaze after nearly two hours of strenuous efforts. The fire was completely extinguished by 6 a.m. the following morning. Simultaneously, another fire erupted in the waste material in MP Nagar Zone 1. Local residents assisted in extinguishing the flames promptly.The burnt car at the mechanic’s shop was intended for repairs, while the other car belonged to a resident nearby. Additionally, the scrap warehouse contained drums of engine oil and other damaged car parts, resulting in explosions within the warehouse. The second car, parked in the house’s parking area, was also engulfed by the fire.
