ALL the four Maharashtra cycle polo squads that will take part in the 44th Senior Men, 24th Senior Women, 38th Sub-Junior Boys and 42nd Junior Boys National Cycle Polo Championships from March 28 have been announced by Gajanan Burde, General Secretary, All Maharashtra Cycle Polo Association on Wednesday. The three-day national event will be held at Darshan Colony Library ground in Nandanvan. The championship is being jointly organised by Nagpur District Amateur Cycle Polo Association, All Maharashtra Cycle Polo Association and Cycle Polo Federation of India. The teams were picked by selection committee panel comprising Dinesh Sarve, Milind Patle, Uttam Itankar, Pralay Pillewar and Sanjay Tijare.

 

Dr Abhijeet Chaudhari, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, Nagpur Municipal Corporation will inaugurate the event on Thursday at 9 am.
