The Congress on Wednesday night brought out a fresh list of 14 candidates for three states, including Madhya Pradesh, for the Lok Sabha elections. The party has fielded Rao Yadvendra Singh against Jyotiraditya Scindia in Guna. Other candidates from the State include Tarvar Singh Lodhi from Damoh and Pratap Bhanu Sharma from Vidisha. Sharma has been pitted against BJP stalwart and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Sharma has been away from electoral politics since last few years, however, he has been discharging duties for the party in various roles, including as incharge of Rewa District during the Assembly election held in the year 2023.
 
The Congress has fielded Nakul Nath, who is the son of a senior party leader Kamal Nath, from the Chhindwara constituency. Pankaj Ahirwar will contest from Tikamgarh whereas Phool Singh Baraiya has been fielded from Bhind. Porlal Kharte from Khargone, Ramu Tekam from Betul, Rajendra Malviya from Dewas, and Radheshyam Muvel from Dhar. In its second list for the State, the party has fielded Digvijaya Singh from Rajgarh, Kantilal Bhuria from Ratlam, Dilip Singh Gurjar from Mandsaur, Arun Shrivastava from Bhopal, Akshay Bam from Indore, while it has given tickets to Phundelal Singh Marko, sitting MLA of Pushprajgarh, from Shahdol (ST) LS seat and Tarana MLA Mahesh Parmar from Ujjain, Guddu Raja Bundela from Sagar, Nilam Mishra from Rewa, Dinesh Yadav from Jabalpur, Samrat Saraswat from Balaghat.
