NOMINATIONS for three Lok Sabha constituencies of Chhattisgarh- namely Kanker, Mahasamund and Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seats have begun on Thursday. Notification for these three Lok Sabha constituenciesKanker, Mahasamund and Rajnandgaon seats have been issued by the concerned Returning Officers. Last date for filing of nominations is April 4. Scrutiny of nominations will be held on April 5. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 8. The voting will be held on April 26. Returning Officer of Kanker Lok Sabha constituency Abhijeet Singh informed that there are eight Lok Sabha constituencies- Sihawa, Sanjari Balod, Dondilohara, Gundardehi, Antagarh, Bhanupratappur, Kanker and Keshkal assembly constituencies under Kanker Lok Sabha seat. There are 16,50,692 voters including 8,07,549 male voters, 8,43,124 female voters and 19 third gender voters in Kanker Lok Sabha constituency. There are 3249 voters, who ages are over 85 years. There are 54,372 voters, whose ages are between 18 and 19 years.
 
There are 16,696 PwD voters. There are 2817 polling stations in Kanker Lok Sabha seats. Returning Officer of Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seat Sanjay Agrawal informed that there are eight assembly constituencies- namely Pandariya, Kawardha, Khairagarh, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Dongargaon, Khujji and Mohla-Manpur in Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seat. Polling will be held in Pandariya, Kawardha, Khairagarh, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Dongargaon and Khujji from 7 am to 6 pm and polling will be held in Mohla-Manpur assembly constituency from 7 am to 3 pm. There are 2,329 polling stations and one auxiliary polling centres in Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seat. There are 18,65,175 voters including 9,28,329 male voters, 9,36,837 female voters and 9 third gender voters in Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency.
 
Returning Officer of Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency Prabhat Malik informed that there are 2146 polling stations in Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency. There are 17,59,181 voters including 8,65,125 male voters, 8,94,023 female voters and 33 third gender voters in Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency. There are eight assembly constituencies- namely- Saraipali, Basna, Khallari, Mahasamund, Rajim, Bindranawagarh, Kurud and Dhamtari in Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency
