SUPERINTENDENT of Police
Aditya Pratap Singh reached
the spot from where body of
an eight-year old girl was found
floating in a pond at village
Padaria under Panagar Thana.
The Superintendent minutely
inspected the crime spot, interacted with people staying close
to the spot and issued necessary directives to the present
officers.
Soon after receiving information about a girl drowned
in a pond, Ajay Bahadur Singh
with his Humrah staff reached
the spot. He was informed by
35-year-old Babloo Vanshkar,
a resident of village Padariya
that his 8-year-old daughter
Nandini Vanshkar went missing while playing outside her
home, in the evening of March
26, 2024.
When she did not return
home till 8.30 pm, the family
started looking for the girl. At
around 9 pm, Mahendra Yadav
approached the family with the
unfortunate news that the little girl had met with a watery
grave in the pond.
Till the villagers reached the spot and
fished out the body, she had
breathed her last Senior officials were
updated about the incident.
SP Singh directed CSP
Adhartal, Priyanka Karcham,
Dog Squad, FSL, Dr Neeta
Jain, ASP (Rural), Sonali
Dubey to reach the spot.
After registering panchnama, the body was sent for
autopsy.
