“The Congress-led Government has only made false promises to the citizens of India for 60 years. While the BJP government has made revolutionary decisions in just 10 years of its rule that has transformed the lives of common man in the country. Not only that, the BJP has delivered what it promised in its election manifesto,” said Union Minister Smriti Irani. She was speaking at the ‘Namo Yuva Maha Sammelan 2024’ organised at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) campus by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Monday. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Member of Parliament and National President of BJYM Tejaswi Surya and Chandrashekhar Bawankule, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were also present. Speaking further, Irani stated that while the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) came to power in 2014, the Congress ridiculed its leader Narendra Modi on various fronts, but today he is the most admired leader on the world platform. She said, Modi piloted various welfare schemes for the benefit of citizens. The Jan Dhan Yojana, implementing direct beneficiary schemes especially for the farmers, improving defence prowess, removal of Article 370 in Kashmir, the Pradhan Mantri Swachh Bharat Mission, and now the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, and several other achievements were listed by Irani as she lashed out at Congress party and its leadership for trying to weaken the country through its anti-people stance.

It's very unfortunate that even though we extended our invitation to the Congress leaders to join the Ram Temple consecration ceremony, none of the leaders attended it,” said Irani. The senior leader also challenged Rahul Gandhi for an open talk with any volunteer of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). Nitin Gadkari while sharing his views stated that the Congress led Government introduced the Garibi Hatao’ slogan, but they never actually implemented and also termed the Manmohan led Government as Deaf and Dumb’ Government. Today we are ushering in a new era of development. We are transforming roads, railways, ports and stations. This also extends to building world class colleges, universities and health infrastructure in the country. According to a report by NITI Aayog, 25 percent of India's population has come out of poverty and this the achievement of NDA Government. The BJP led Government, is building an economy where the youth will be respected. We are not only concentrated towards building smart cities, but also smart villages. The NDA led alliance will definitely win over 400 seats in the upcoming elections,” stated Gadkari.

The youths played a crucial in bringing the NDA government to majority as they were demanding a political change in the country. Due to the political stability, NDA government has taken major decisions and this is the reason we see big change in India today”, stated Surya. The next 25 years are the most important and productive for India. Today, Indian’s youths are speaking a changed vocabulary that include start-up, valuation, venture capitalist and unicorns, he said. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis stated that India has scaled new heights in a record time during the Modi-led Government. This was not possible in the 50 years rule of the Congress. From Chandrayan 3, to introducing the New Education Policy (NEP), introduction of Vande Bharat Trains to becoming a defence product exporter and extending helping hands to around 100 countries under the Maitree’ programme during the COVID-19, India has come a long way under BJP's rule. The next election is not for the party but for the country, asserted Fadnavis. The programme was conducted by Shivani Dani while Badal Raut proposed a vote of thanks. Bunty Kukde, Sudhakar Kohle, Rahul Lonikar, Vibhav Singh, Rohit Chahal, Gaurav Gautam and others were present.
