A tiger attacked a person in Kanha Tiger Reserve in Mandla district, due to which the person was seriously injured. On receiving the information, the injured was admitted to Primary Health Center, Mocha for first aid. From there he was brought to the district hospital and after seeing the serious condition of the young man, he has been referred to Jabalpur Medical College, where he is undergoing treatment.
 
SDO, Halon Mitendra Chichkhede said that the incident took place Beat Khatia of Kanha area Khatia, where in themorning a resident of village Khatia was attacked by a tiger. In this attack, the person suffered injuries on his face and ears. Due to continuous bleeding, he has been referred to Jabalpur. He said that eyewitnesses have informed that the person was screaming after the tiger attack him. Hearing this, when the villagers reached there, the tiger left the man and ran away. After the incident, the administration has increased vigilance in the area by exercising caution. Besides, the villagers are being warned not to go into the forest and to remain alert.
