To oppose freezing of bank accounts, State Congress has carried forward All India Congress Committee’s One Vote One Note programme (Ek Note, Ek Vote), campaign in teh State capital on Sunday. Pradesh Congress Committee members are reaching out to people with this slogan. Congress State President Jitu Patwari and Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate Arun Srivastava took to streets for crowd funding. On the other hand, BJP called it Congress’ attempt to divert attention from tax evasion. BJP State President and MP V D Sharma alleged that the Congress is crying foul. He demanded former Chief Minister and PCC Chief Kamal Nath to respond on this issue. “Kamal Nath should respond to allegations of business in the name of charity. From Congress office to Kamal Nath’s residence, everyone is involved in corruption.” Congress is spreading confusion, bank accounts are not frozen, only liabilities are banned. Congress used to spend on luxuries while BJP believes to serve the country, he said. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi assures the 140 crore people of the country that every penny of their blood and sweat is dedicated to the country, the new corruption of the corrupt Congress and INDIA alliance is coming in front of public.

Congress not only evaded taxes but also carried out many scams in the country from 2004 to 2014. But during the governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, law is fair enough for everyone. If anyone violates norms, he/she will have to face stern action and have to follow the law of the country. Slamming Congress, he further said Kamal Nath’s role in the Income Tax Department investigation is under question and his involvement in tax evasion is now surfacing. Reports going on in the media are also putting Kamal Nath under scanner. In such a situation, Kamal Nath should share details of donation business to public. Notably, after freezing the accounts of Congress, now Congress has started One Vote-One Note for crowd funding in MP. Under this campaign, Congress will now seek financial support from common people. Congress and Kamal Nath are now getting trapped in their own trap.
Congress had earlier said that a notice of Rs 200 crore has been received.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are now telling that they have received a tax notice of Rs 1800 crore from the Income Tax Department. Sharma said that the Income Tax Department had searched several places in Madhya Pradesh in April 2019, when cash receipts pertaining to two companies were found. In which one company gave cash in exchange for contracts, while the other company was said to be close to Kamal Nath which had given cash amounting to crores to Congress. Corruptionnath (jibe on Kamal Nath) should tell the world who are those close to him? The cash recovered from Kamal Nath’s associates was linked to a major alleged corruption scam in the State. Kamal Nath, who cheated the people of Chhindwara, people of Madhya Pradesh should also tell about this scam. The investigating agencies have also exposed fraud of crores of rupees from Kamal Nath’s official residence to AICC office. Why Kamal Nath and Patwari are silent on this issue. Congress is merely spreading confusion among the public regarding freezing of accounts.

State President Sharma said that for every political party in the country, its income is only donations received by it, but to get exemption on this income, every party has to fulfill the conditions of Income Tax Act 13 (A). According to the Income Tax Department, Congress has violated Act 13(A) in the assessment year 2018-19. After which many notices were given, but Congress ignored these notices. Reacting to BJP’s allegations, PCC President Jitu Patwari said that our accounts have been frozen by the BJP Government through Income Tax. Innocent leaders and Chief Ministers of our India alliance are being sent to jail. We are running ‘One Vote-One Note’ campaign to inform people about the dictatorship of the Government. This campaign is to save India, to secure democracy and to ensure that the Constitution is followed. Here on demonetisation he said that by demonetisation they collected billions of rupees. During the One Vote One Note programme organised under the leadership of dstrict Congress Committee Bhopal (City) President Praveen Saxena, District Congress Committee Bhopal (Rural) President Anokhi Patel, a large number of people from nearby locality and outlets gathered in New Market.
