IN Bastar Lok Sabha Constituency Number 10, Bastar Range Inspector General of Police Sundarraj P and Divisional Commissioner Shyam Dhawde cast their vote at Hatkchora polling center of Bastar district. In the first phase of Lok Sabha elections - 2024, voters are exercising their franchise with enthusiasm and confidence in all the polling stations under Bastar Lok Sabha constituency.

 

IG has appealed to the voters of the area that it is the responsibility of all to strengthen democracy for peace, security and development of Bastar region and therefore the Voters should reach their respective polling booths and exercise their franchise. IG, Divisional Commissioner, Collectors and Superintendents of Police inspected the sensitive polling stations of Bastar Division and observed the security arrangements and other management. It is noteworthy that despite of repeated boycott and threat call by Maoists, there is lot of enthusiasm and commitment among the native population of Bastar, who are turning out in huge numbers to the polling stations. IG has expressed confidence that ballot would emerge victorious in the battle of Ballot Vs Bullet.
