Students of class X and XII brought laurels to Jabalpur district with their excellent performance in the examinations. As 07 students from class XII and 04 from class X claimed different places in top ten State-level merit list. Even overall results of Jabalpur district in both the classes were improved as compared to last year as the district claimed 8th rank in class XII and 36th rank in class X in overall district-wise performance list of the State. As compared to last year’s 62.81% obtained in class XII, students scored 71.53% this year. Similarly, as compared to 48.91% obtained last year in class X, this year’s result was 55.97%, respectively. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) on Wednesday, declared Class 10 and 12 Board exam results. Seven students from class XII who were enlisted in the State-level merit list included Janvi Patel from Nachiketa HS School, Napier Town remained on 4th position with 97.6% in Maths Science, Pragya Shukla from Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha School of Excellence Jabalpur obtained 5th rank with 97.4% in Maths Science, Sahil Gupta from Yash Nursery HS School, Adhartal 10th rank with 96.4% in Maths Science, Shruti Dahiya from Government H.S. School, Majhgawan 7th rank with 96% in Arts, Harshita Soni from Binni Bai Jain Girl’s HS School, Panagar 10th with 95.6% in Bio Science, Basuri Agrawal from Mispa Mission Patan 8th with 95.2% in Commerce and Mohammed Wajid from CM Rise HS School, Medical 10th with 94.8% in Commerce, respectively.

 

Similarly, the four students from Class X who proudly managed to be included in the State-level Merit list were Ankita Urmalia from Saraswati HS School Ganganagar claimed 4th rank with 98.2%, Om Chouksey from Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha School of Excellence 7th rank with 97.6%, Riya Choudhary from Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha School of Excellence 9th rank with 97.2% and Sejal Barman from Govt. MLB Girls’ HS School 10th rank with 97%, respectively.

 

Similarly, the top-three scorers in District-level Class XII Merit list included Sameer Mudiya from Govt. Boys HS School, Panagar and Himanshu from Govt. Lalchand HS School, Khitola Bazar Sihora who topped the list, similarly, the second position was jointly claimed by Akash Kushwaha from Government HS School Adhartal, Tanya Rai from Salem English Medium HS School, Khitola, Arindam Pandey from Onkar Namdeo Saraswati Vidyalay Mandir, Patan, Poornima Mishra from Government Girl HS School, Sihora, Arpit Vishwakarma from Government HS School, Adhartal while Khushi Gupta from Shishu Vidyapeeth English Medium HS School, GCF Estate Jabalpur and Shreya Chourasiya from Choudhary Mother Care HS School, Kamla Nehru Nagar remained on third position, respectively. Whereas, the District-level merit list of class X was topped by Maitri Pande from Leonard HS School, Civil Lines who obtained 484 out of total 500 marks, while Mansi Barman from Mispa Mission HS School, Sihora claimed second position with 483 numbers and Faizan Parvez Ansari from Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha Model HS Excellence School remained on third position with 482 marks, respectively.
