Snehal Maniyar, Shraddha Nabira and Rupali Sahare excelled with bat as they helped their respective sides to huge wins on the opening day of the Guzder League Women’s T20 Tournament which got under way on Wednesday at various grounds of the city. Snehal slammed an unbeaten 65 as Team B thrashed Team A by nine wickets at SB City College ground. Team A rode on Bharti Fulmali’s 46 to post 110-8 in 20 overs. Dhanashri Gujar and Anushka Nigutkar took three wickets each for Team B. In reply, Team B knocked off the runs in 17.1 overs losing one wicket with Snehal emerging has the highest scorer with 65 runs. Disha Kasat scored unbeaten 35 runs.

 

In another match at WCL ground, Team E was helped by Shraddha’s unbeaten 45 as they beat Team G by six wickets.

At City Gymkhana Ground: Team D 118-2 in 13 overs (Rupali Sahare 53, Nimisha Kotecha 26 NO). Team H 82-4 in 13 overs (Ashwini Deshmukh 36 NO, Akshaya Supke 26). Result: Team D won by 36 runs.
