TEAM Steel Smathers were crowned champions while Team Power Player emerged runner-up in the badminton tournament organised by Steel and Hardware Chamber of Vidarbha in collaboration with M/s Swetal Steel for its members. The tournament was conducted at Doshi Dayal Badminton Academy, Small Factory Area, Bagadganj recently. In all 28 members were divided into four teams that participated in this event. All the teams were rewarded with medals. Aman Agrawal-led Team Steel Smathers pipped Team Power Player, that was captained by Anurag Khemka, to the second spot.

 

“Along with business, all businessmen should also be interested in one or the other sport. This can help one remain fit and healthy,” said Chairman Rajesh Sarada during inauguration of the tournament. The tournament was conducted by Secretary Dinesh Agarwal and Sameer Agarwal. Convenors of Entertainment and Sports Committee Anand Randar and Mukul Agarwal proposed vote of thanks. Members of the chamber Rajesh Lakhotiya, Manoj Khemani, Suryakant Agarwal, Satishbhai Doshi, Mukul Agarwal, Mani Jejani, Manoj Pachisia, Mahesh Agarwal, Rajinder Singh Kalsi, Nilay Agarwal, Lalit Khaitan, Harsh Agarwal, Manish Tulsian, Manoj Asawa were present during the tournament.
