Sneha Uikey scored a goal in each half as Eagle Sports Club thrashed Maha Youth Football Club 4-0 in the ongoing JSW NDFA Women’s League being played at Dr Ambedkar Football Stadium in Suyog Nagar. In a one-sided battle, Sneha scored the opener in the 6th minute of play. Malvika Tembhurne then doubled the lead scoring in the 30th minute off a solo effort. Five minutes later, Rakshanda Sonekar stretched the gulf scoring an easy goal and Sneha rounded it off with her second and team’s fourth goal in the 46th minute. In the Under-13 Kick Flicks boys football tournament, Star Football Academy blanked Ansari Academy by three goals to nil.

 

Abdul Rehman (31st), Mohammad zaid (Own Goal, 13th) and Mohammad Amish (40th) were the scorers for the winning side. In another match, Sankalp Academy rode on Shita Das and Lakshmi Nishan’s braces as they drubbed SECR by seven goals to nil. Das scored his goals in 2nd and 10th minutes while Nishan bulged the net in 4th and 25th minutes of play. Aadi Bhusani (9th), Rajvansh Bhatia (12th) and Manas Rathore (25th) were the other goal getters for the winning side.
