BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Meerut and veteran actor Arun Govil filed his nomination in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya on Tuesday. Speaking after filing his nomination, Govil expressed his gratitude, stating, “Today, in the presence of Shri Keshav Ji, I have filed my nomination. The enthusiasm here for public engagement is remarkable. I have received love and respect over here in Meerut, which is greater than what I received till date.”

 

Govil also pledged his support to achieve the ambitious target set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi “I would like to express my gratitude to the BJP and pledge my support to achieve the target set by our Prime Minister, ‘Is bar 400 par’,” Arun Govil said. When questioned about the Prime Minister’s commitment to the fight against corruption for the next five years, Govil exuded confidence.
