The Lok Samvad Yatra of Union Minister and Nagpur Lok Sabha candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party Nitin Gadkari received a grand reception in East Nagpur with fireworks and flower showers. Today’s Lok Samvad Yatra witnessed the overwhelming response of youth and women. From Zade Bhawan (Chhapru Nagar Square) Gadkari’s Lok Samvad Yatra had started. East Nagpur MLA Krishna Khopde, BJP Nagpur City President Jitendra (Bunty) Kukde, former Standing Committee Chairman of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Virendra Kukreja, General Secretary of BJP Sandip Gavai, Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar Group) City President Prashant Pawar, senior BJP leader Sanjay Bhende, former corporator Narendra (Balya) Borkar, former corporator Chetna Tank etc were prominently present.
The citizens and activists of East Nagpur had already made preparations for the Lok Samvad Yatra. In many settlements, large hoardings, banners were on display in squares.
At Srikrishna Nagar, a big board with the words ‘Hum Vishwas Dilate Hain... Jo Ram Ko Lae Hain... Hum Unhe Laenge’ was put up by the Shitla Mata Devasthan Panch Committee. Many places were decorated with rangolis. As the Loksamvad Yatra would pass, the people’s enthusiasm was at peak. Mahendra Raut conducted the yatra well and made it colorful. The Yatra left from Chhapru Nagar Square at around 9 am to Kumbhar Toli, Shastri Nagar, Jaibhim Chowk, Venkatesh Nagar, Darshan Colony, Gayatri Convent, Priyadarshini College, Hasanbagh, New Sahkar Nagar, Ramana Maroti, Bhavans School, Pragnyashil Buddha Vihar, Shivshakti Chowk, Gupta Palace. The Yatra culminated at Gora Kumbhar Samaj Bhawan en route to Chandmari Mandir.
