player of the State Karate Academy, Anuj Goswami won the gold medal in 55 kg category Under 21 at the All India Karate Championship 2024 held in Dehradun from May 8 to 12. In the final match, Anuj Goswami defeated Shivam Poddar of West Bengal by a score of 7-0. He had earlier defeated Gyanesh Kumar of Uttar Pradesh, Vikas Jat of Rajasthan, Rahat Rai of Sikkim, and Adarsh Gaikwad of Maharashtra in the earlier rounds.
 
He is taking training under the trainers Harshit Vishwakarma , Kuldeep Kandil and Deepak Narwariya The State Karate Academy has been a consistent performer at the national and international level. Since 2007, the players of the academy have won a total of 442 medals including 241 gold, 97 silver and 104 bronze at the national level and 84 medals including 40 gold, 16 silver and 28 bronze at the international level. The success of Anuj Goswami is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players and coaches of the State Karate Academy.
