Buldhana captain Yash Kadam led by example as his team humbled Amravati by three wickets in the final of the VCA Inter-District T20 Tournament at the RR Cricket Academy in Talegaon. It was an all-round show from Yash as he first starred with the ball, picking up two wickets for 24 runs. As many as five Amravati batsmen - Yajwan Gadhave (22), Pratik Garwale (37), Sanskar Jain (22), Vishesh Tiwari (29) and Dipesh Parwani (20 not out) - got starts but failed to come up with a big score. Amravati, still managed to put up 179-7 on the board.

Buldhana suffered a few hiccups in their chase and looked to be in trouble at 34-2 and 139-6, but capain Kadam anchored the innings with an unbeaten 66 (41 balls, 4x6, 6x2). He got good support from Yash Talmale, who made a fine 43 (30 balls, 4x5, 6x1). The duo added 64 runs for the fourth. Even though Buldhana lost three more wickets cheaply, Kadam kept his cool and guided his team to victory with an over to spare. He was declared the Player of the Match for his all-round show. Sanjay Badkas, Secretary, VCA, Sharad Padhye, Chairman District Committee and senior selectors Suhas Phadkar, Naim Razaque and Chandrasekhar Atram as well as District Convenors were present on the occasion and gave away the awards.
