Para canoeist Rajni Jha of State kayaking- canoeing Academy, has qualified for the 2024 Paralympics in Paris. This is the first time that a Para player from Madhya Pradesh will participate in the Paralympics in water sports. Rajni Jha secured a place in the final of the KL2 Women's 200m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup and Para canoe World Championship in Hungary .The final match for the World Championship is going to held today and total 9 players will participate in the final match.

 

Rajni's coach Pijush Kanti Baroi informed that by reaching to the final round , she also earned eligibility for the Paralympics Games 2024 Paris. She is a Vikram Award winning player, is posted in the Bhopal RTO. She has been training under the guidance of Pijush Kanti Baroi, Chief Instructor of State Kayaking Canoeing Academy.
