THREE players including Pramod Dhamgaye, TM Kawadkar and Vijay Jhanwar shared top position with three points each after the third round of 10th Kamal Kumar Barat Memorial NDCA Veterans (45 Year & Above) Chess Championship. The Championship was inaugurated by Vinod Trivedi, Former President, NDCA. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Manoj Itkelwar, Former President NDCA, Archana Kotwal, Shiv Chhatrapati Awardee, KK Barat, Secretary, NDCA and Chief Arbiter Pravin Pantawane, International Arbiter. The function was conducted by SN Parkhi, Treasurer, NDCA. In all 41 veteran players which includes 23 FIDE rated players are taking part in the tournament. Archana Kotwal (1958) is the top seed of the tournament. On Sunday, fourth round will be played from 9:30 am.
