In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the voting of voters posted on election duty, disabled, 85 plus voters and voters posted in compulsory service under Parliamentary Constituency 07 Durg was completed through postal ballot. Parliamentary constituency 07 Durg includes main district Durg and peripheral district Bemetara. Voting through postal ballot was conducted in Durg and Bemetara districts, in which 1,995 from district Durg and 359 in Bemetara district a total of 2,354 postal votes were received in Durg district through the convenience center for voters deployed on election duty.
 
Specially constituted polling team conducted voting for disabled and elderly (85 plus) voters by reaching their homes through postal ballot. In this category, 305 postal votes were received in district Durg and 13 in district Bemetara. According to the information received from Additional Collector and Nodal Officer Postal Ballot Dashrath Rajput, as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, while providing additional facilities to the compulsory service voters, those voters were made to vote from the Postal Voting Centre (PVC). 05 postal ballot papers were received from PVC in district Durg and 10 in district Bemetara.
