The Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday afternoon declared results of Class X and Class XII. Shrinidhi Deshpande of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar, stood Vidarbha topper in Class X examination by scoring 99.4%. Priyansha Kapse and Tanmay Lanjewar, both students of Class XII of St Paul School scored 98.8 per cent and 98.4% respectively. Priyansha tops Class XII results from Nagpur. Priyansha had topped in Class X also where she had scored 98.8%. Aaradhya Singh, a student of Bhavan’s Ashti branch scored 99.2 per cent in Class X while Madhura Dani of Bhavan’s Civil Lines branch scored 99 per cent, securing third position in the list of meritorious students.
In Nagpur, the percentage scored by Priyasha in Class XII is the highest among all streams. Akarsh Sahay of School of Scholars, Atrey Layout has shared second spot with Tanmay Lanjewar by scoring 98.4%. The admission procedures of Class XI and post-XII programmes were facing problems. With the declaration of results now, those handling Class XI admissions and those of university level have heaved a sigh of relief. In Commerce stream, Yug Golani, a student of School of Scholars, Atrey Layout secured top position by scoring 96.6%. Krishna Sharma of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar, and Tanisha Agrawal of Centre Point School, Katol Road, shared second position by securing 96.4%.
In Humanities, Siddhi Jaiswal of Bhavan’s Srikrishna Nagar, stood first. She scored 97%. Srishti Holay, a student of School of Scholars scored 96% and stood second in Humanities. Tanisha Gidwani of Centre Point School, Dabha, has probably secured third position in Humanities by scoring 95.8% marks. Class XII examinations were conducted between February 15, 2024, and April 2. Most schools, including five Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya secured 100% results. Around 2,000 students appeared in Class XII examination from 30 schools in city.
Class X examinations were conducted between February 15 and March 13, 2024. This time there are a lot of students who excelled in CBSE Class X and Class XII examinations by fighting against all odds. Some students lost their kins during examination while some having physical disabilities studied and came with flying colours.
