Member of Legislative Assembly from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pradeep Lariya, on Wednesday, addressed a press conference in which, he briefed the media personnel over the stand of party in Sagar’s incident. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached the district in the morning and had met the family of the decease and also directed the officials to give economic help to the family and has also ordered the officials to set up a police station in the area. He also mentioned that the accused in this incident will not be spared and tough action will be taken by the government in this regard.

 

 

While addressing the press conference, Lariya, slamming the erstwhile Congress government said that it was the Congress government who didn’t take action against the accused in 2019, due to which this crime was committed. A case had been registered in this regard by the Sagar Police in the erstwhile Kamal Nath led government regime but no action was taken. If the Congress government had taken action on this issue, then this murder wouldn’t have been committed. “The BJP is standing with the dalits and tribals of the State and is committed for their development. Sant Ravidas temple and statue are under construction in the Sagar district with a cost of Rs 100 crore. We developed Panch Teerth in the country, commemorating five milestones in the life of the architect of the constitution.

 

 

On the other hand, the Congress has always gathered votes on the name of Ambedkar but have nothing for the dalits in reality. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, they are getting pucca houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Scheme and are also availing various benefits under Khadyann and Ayushman scheme. The party has also made proper arrangements for them ensuring their daily requirement while in power whereas the Congress only considered them as vote bank,” he said. He said that the party is with the family of the deceased. CM Yadav has himself met the family and have assured them of every possible help. Most of the accused in the previous cases are behind the bars and this time too, the accused will be under arrest soon. State officer-bearers of the party also accompanied him during the press conference.
