THE much hyped Chhattisgarh Sarafa Association election is finally scheduled in Raipur on June 23. Timing of casting of votes is 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. Since the date is announced, the election process has commenced with the releasing of the initial voters list at the association’s Dharamkanta-based office in Raipur. Chief Election Officer Magelal Maloo and Assistant Election Officer released the voters list. The members who want the voters list can obtain from the Dharamkanta-based office by paying Rs 100 for each copy. Assistant Election Officer Prakash Golcha said that a meeting of the election committee was convened and in a unanimous decision the prior announced timings for casting of votes was revised to 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. Besides Chief Election Officer Magelal Maloo, Assistant Election Officer Pankaj Parekh of Bilaspur, Dharamchand Bhansali, Rajendra Sharma, Anil Kutcheria and Prakash Golcha were present in the meeting.
