MSU2Y: A golden opportunity for entrepreneurs

ADDRESSING a gathering here in the city, Dhanaji Kale, Senior Project Associate at MAHAPREIT, recently said that the Mukhya Mantri Solar Udyog Utthan Yojana (MSU2Y) offers golden opportunity to the entrepreneurs to save significantly on their electricity bills. “It is also beneficial for entrepreneurs who wish to use green energy in their commercial establishments. More and more entrepreneurs from the region should come forward and take advantage of this scheme,” he said at the seminar organised to provide information about the scheme to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The seminar was jointly organised by Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) and the MIDC Industry Association (MIA), Nagpur at the MIA House in MIDC area. MIA President Capt.
C M Randhir (Retd.) and MIA Treasurer Arun Lanjewar; Project Managers from MAHAPREIT Yashraj Gore, Shubham Chaudhary, Manoj Shirwalkar, and Swati Jha; Joint Secretary of MIA, Anant Gupta; several executive members, including Sachin Jain, S M Patwardhan and Manish Sawal, were also present. Additionally, unit members such as Rajkumar Chokhani, Rakesh Gupta, Kunal Itankar, Sandip Fadse, Ramesh Patel and other MIA members were also present. This scheme is very important for all industries as it offers savings of 30 to 40 per cent on electricity costs. The quality of electricity will also remain high. Kale noted that the scheme aims to install a total of 400 megawatts of solar energy systems on the rooftops of approximately ten thousand industries across Maharashtra. The MIA also appealed to entrepreneurs from the Nagpur region to take benefit from the scheme, and reduce electricity bills. Arun Lanjewar proposed the formal vote of thanks.
