The Election Commission (EC) should immediately ban election campaign of Jitu Patwari as the latter is creating disharmony in the society during elections, urged the BJP delegation while submitting a memorandum to the Election Commission. A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has complained to the Election Commission of India about the indecent remarks made by Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari against former state minister and senior BJP leader Imarti Devi.
 
Along with the complaint, the video of Jitu Patwari has also been submitted to the Election Commission. In a memorandum submitted at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh located in Arera Hills, Bhopal.
The BJP delegation said that the statement given by Madhya Pradesh Congress President, Jitu Patwari regarding BJP woman leader Imarti Devi his highly objectionable and highlights his mentality. Insulting Dalits and especially women has become the tradition of the Congress Party. Jitu Patwari has defied the court by sharing the photo of the family of the girl victim in a gangrape case on his social media account.
 
Jitu Patwari has also made indecent remarks about Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav. Therefore, Bharatiya Janata Party demands that the Election Commission should immediately ban the election campaign of Jitu Patwari, so that the such statements of Patwari can be stopped and the creation of animosity among different sections of the society can also be prevented. The delegation led by Mayor Malti Rai, State Vice President, Seema Singh, State Co-ordinator of Election Commission Co-ordination Department S S Uppal and State Media Panellist Advocate Gunjan Choukse.
