Expedite redevelopment work of 53 Amrit Stations: WCR GM

West Central Railway, General Manager, Shobhna Bandopadhyay has directed heads of different departments to bring pace in redevelopment work of 53 Amrit Stations in the rail zone. She informed that rail administration is committed for ensuring infrastructure development works within stipulated time under Amrit Station Yojana. She was chairing a meeting of heads of departments of Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota rail divisions at WCR Headquarters, on Friday. It may be noted that under Jabalpur Rail Division, redevelopment works of Jabalpur, Satna, Katni, Maihar, Damoh, Kareli, Beohari, Rewa, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Katni Mudwara, Piparia, Gadarwara, Sihora Road, Shridham, Katni South and Bargavan railway stations is being carried out.
 
Similarly, Bhopal, Bina, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Ganjbasoda, Vidisha, Ashok Nagar, Ruthiya, Byavara Rajgarh, Sanchi, Shajapur, Khirkia, Banapura, Itarsi, Guna, Narmadapuram, Harda and Shivpuri are being re-developed under Bhopal rail division. In Kota division, Kota, Dakniya Talav, Bharatpur, Gangapur City, Savai Madhopur, Ramganjmandi, Bhavani Mandi, Shamgarh, Vikramgarh A lot, Bayana, Hindaun City, Shri Mahaveer Ji, Baran, Chabdra Gugor, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Jalavad City, Garoth and Choumahla railway stations are being redeveloped under Amrit Station Yojana. Redevelopment of railway stations will also ensure socio economic development of concerned areas which will encourage employment opportunities and boost education and business sectors.
