AMMA FC registered an easy 3-0 win over XCite Play Academy in the JSW NDFA Women’s League Football Tournament organised by Nagpur District Football Association at its Dr Ambedkar Football Stadium in Suyog Nagar on Sunday. In a one-sided battle, Dhanshree Sherkure scored the opener in 8th minute of play to give Amma FC lead.

Then Kajal Warthi doubled the lead in 26th minute with her fine goal. Four minutes later, in 30th minute, Pallavi Bhoyer found the net to make it 3-0 for winning side. Amma FC players did well to keep the lead intact till the final whistle to record an easy victory.

 

In KickFlicks NDFA Under-13 Inter-Academy Boys Football Tournament, Sankalp Academy defeated Achievers Academy 2-0. Manas Rathore of Sankalp found the target in just third minute of play to take his team ahead. Laxminishan Saplaya scored in 32nd minute to make it 2-0 for the winning side. Divit Bhartia and Manas Rathore both of Sankalp Academy were cautioned in the 35th minute of the game. In another match, NDFA Academy played a goalless draw against Sportian Football Academy. Harpreet Singh of Sportian was given warning in 22nd minute of play.
