High drama was witnessed in the District Court, Durg after a lawyer and his clients got engaged in fight. The woman client allegedly slapped the lawyer and also hit her with her slippers and enraged over the incident the lawyers staged a Chakkajam outside the District Court near Patel Chowk. They also went to Durg Kotwali Police Station demanding legal actions against the accused woman. Durg Kotwali Police have reportedly also registered offence in this connection against the accused woman client. Meanwhile, Durg Kotwali Police Station In-charge could not be contacted for the confirmation on registration of offence against the accused woman.

 

According to information, at about 12 pm on Saturday, a woman along with her husband came to the court in connection with a pending court dispute. It is reported that the couple was allegedly forced to compromise by the lawyer following which the woman slapped the lawyer and hit him with her slippers. The woman then even reached Durg Kotwali Police Station and tried to lodge complaint against the lawyer instead. Infuriated over the incident, the lawyers demanded immediate legal actions against the woman and staged Chakkajam after their demand was not met. Additional SP Abhishek Jha also reached the spot and pacified the angry lawyers following which the Chakkajam ended.
