Police have brilliantly solved the mystery behind murder of woman within a few hours of the incident was reported. The woman was strangulated in pretext of loot incident and her husband was the main conspirator of the incident. Police have arrested the husband of deceased and his three friends. Husband planned the murder of his wife in a bid to eliminate her as she was opposing the extra marital affair. The arrested have been identified as husband of deceased Shubham Choudhary (26), son of Gopal Das, resident of behind excise warehouse in Kajarwara, Prahlad Singh Thakur (Gond) (27), son of late Bharat Singh Thakur, resident of Bajrang Nagar in Ranjhi, Anurag Kushwaha (Kachhi) (21), son of late Vrindavan Kushwaha, resident of behind Gangamaiyya Khermai in Ranjhi and Shibbu Choudhary (24), Ashok Choudhary, resident of Nai Basti in Ranjhi.

 

Superintendent of Police, Aditya Pratap Singh (IPS) disclosed this while addressing a press conference, on Monday. It may be noted that a woman Reshma Choudhary was strangulated after being looted by unidentified accused near bridge of Madhotal pond. Acting promptly on the information, SP, Aditya Pratap Singh reached the spot and constituted a combined team of Madhotal and Crime Branch for further investigation into the case. Investigating the case, police held doubt on deceased’s husband Shubham Choudhary as he was frequently changing his statements. Police conducted search of the area of incident and took statements of local persons but they expressed their helplessness in having any information about such kind of incident in the area.

 

In the CCTV footages of the area, police found that Shubham was trying to misguide the police with his wrong statements. In a strict questioning, the accused broke out and confessed the conspiracy of killing his wife with the help of his friends Prahalad Singh Thakur, Anurag Kushwaha and Shibbu Choudhary. Shubham revealed that his wife always clashed with her for her extra marital affair. He decided to eliminate his wife and made a conspiracy of killing her with the help of his friends on contract of Rs 60,000 and gave them advance of Rs 20,000. On his identification, police have arrested two of the three accused while Shibbu Choudhary is still at large.
