SP chairs meeting of SHOs, officers investigating 11 cases against pvt schools

 

 

 

 

 

Superintendent of Police, Aditya Pratap Singh (IPS) chaired a meeting of SHOs and other Gazetted officers of 9 police stations investigating the 11 cases against different private schools. During the meeting, SP, AP Singh sought information from SHOs of Omti, Belbagh, Sanjeevani Nagar, Gwarighat, Gora Bazar, Madhotal, Tilwara, Barela and Bhedaghat police stations about progress in investigations in 11 cases of forgery and conspiracy in illegal fee hike and commission in sale of books and stationary from book shops. He gave necessary direction to the SHOs for further investigation into the case for presenting strong charge sheet before the court.

 

It may be noted that 9 police stations have registered FIR against 11 private schools and book sellers and publishers and arrested total 21 accused under Sections 420, 409, 468, 471 and 120 B of IPC. Police have obtained the remand of total 16 accused for further investigations. During the meeting, Additional SP (City), Sonakshi Saxena (IPS) and Additional SP (Crime), Summer Verma were present.
