YASH Dhote and Chetna Shurma emerged winners in their respectively categories at the 5th National Arm Wrestling and Para Arm Wrestling Tournament underway at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande hall, Civil Lines. Dhote, who hails from Chhattisgarh bagged first place in junior boys 55kg while Assam’s Shurma topped in senior women 65kg weight category.

 

In junior boys 55kg the second place went to Horsh Arya of Uttarakhand and West Bengal’s Rohit Baghel was on the third spot. In senior women 65kg Manipur’s Leishangthem and Delhi’s Manorma stood second and third. Bollywood actor and Pro League Director Srinivasan Dabang was the guest on third day of tournament being conducted by Maharashtra Arm Wrestling Association and Samta Sporting Club Nagpur under the aegis People’s Arm Wrestling Federation India.
