A two day Agarwal Badminton League was organized by Agarwal Yuva Mandal, Raipur’s Unit of Agarwal Sabha and Sky TMT at i-Sports Arena, Mova on June 8 and 9. In this badminton league tournament, 250 participants from 5 years to 60 years in 10 categories participated and more than 250 matches were played.

 

After the second day of matches the winners were in Men’s Single category Ritesh Kumar Agarwal, above 35 years age group, Varun Jain, under 19-35 years age group, Vatsal Kedia under 15 years to 19 years age group, Soham Agarwal under 11 years to 15 years age group, Advay Singhal below 11 years age group. Similarly in Women’s Single Category Harshita Agarwal, under the 19 to 35 years age group, Aarshiya Agarwal under 11 years to 15 years age group. In doubles category the winners were Hitesh Agarwal and Neeraj Agarwal above 35 years age group, Vaibhav Goyal and Varun Goyal under 19 years to 35 years age group, Vatsal Kedia and Aviral Agarwal were below the 19 years age group. The two day program was inaugurated by Basna MLA Shri Sampat Agarwal on 8th June.

 

Many eminent people of the society including Agrawal Sabha President, Vijay Agarwal; Kailash Murarka, Kishan Agarwal, BJP State Treasurer, Nandan Lal Jain and Sky TMT Director, Ravi Singhal were present in the inauguration ceremony. Yuva Mandal President Ram Agarwal said that this competition will be organized every year to make the youth of the society aware of sports and to unite the society .

 

The program concluded on June 9, in the presence of former Additional Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh Government CK Khaitan and all the winners were awarded by him. Agarwal Sabha General Secretary, Manmohan Agarwal; Youth Wing in-charge, Subhash Agarwal; Organization Minister, Yogi Agarwal; Treasurer, Prem Chand Agarwal: Ramesh Agarwal, President of Agarwal Mahila Mandal, Maya Murarka; President of Agarwal Yuvati Mandal, Shivangi Agarwal were present in the closing ceremony.
