Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds lashed Bandol including Seoni city on Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, four women working in a field, were seriously injured after lightning struck on. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment with the help of 108. According to the information, Belabai (42), wife of Ram Kishan Maravi; Ragini Maravi, daughter of Ram Kishan; Jhimmu Parte (60), wife of Durga Parte; and Sakshi (14), daughter of Belchand Parte of Gram Panchayat Sanwari had gone to work in the field in Lugansa village under Bandol police station. During this time, lightning struck, due to which all the four women got injured.
 
On receiving the information, pilot Nitesh Baghel, MT Shrivas of 108 vehicle took the injured to the hospital. Bandol Police Station In-charge, Rajesh Kumar Dubey said that lightning struck four women resulting in serious injuries to them. They have been sent to the hospital for treatment. Additionally, a tree planted on the side of the road near the Warehouse Petrol Pump located between Dundaseoni Chowk and Bypass Road fell on the road due to strong winds. This led to traffic disruption for some time.
