Various yoga events across CG today

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Various Yoga programmes will be organised across the State on the occasion of International Day of Yoga, on Friday. A state-level Yoga programmwe will be organised at Science College Ground in the State Capital. The event will be organised by Social Welfare Department, Government of India, as per the instructions of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, on the occasion of the tenth International Day of Yoga Day. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will be the Chief guest at the state-level programme. Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department Minister Laxmi Rajwade will preside over the function. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will practice Yoga in the capital city Raipur on the occasion of International Day of Yoga.

 

The programme will be organised from 7 am to 8 am as per the protocol prescribed by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Training in yoga practice will be provided by the trained and experienced yoga instructors of Chhattisgarh State Yoga Commission, in which about 35,000 people including public representatives of the State, government officials-employees and yoga practitioners from Patanjali Yoga Institute Chhattisgarh, Prajapita Brahmakumari Vishwavidyalaya Chhattisgarh, Art of Living Chhattisgarh, All India Gayatri Parivar Chhattisgarh, Heartfulness Yoga Institute Chhattisgarh, Hasya Yoga Institute Chhattisgarh will participate. Besides, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu will participate in the International Day of Yoga programme at Bilaspur. Cabinet Minister Brijmohan Agrawal will participate in the programme in Kanker.
