HEINOUS Skeletons of 50 cattle found in Katangi

 

 

 

 

 

 

The conspiracy of killing Gauvansh sparks again with finding of skeletons of more than 50 cattle at a hilly area of Katangi area, around 40-kilometres from district headquarters Jabalpur, on Wednesday. The skeletons were first sight by a shepherd and villagers started gathering on the spot. The news was spread like a jungle fire and a large numbers of Bajrang Dal activists reached the spot and police were informed about the incident. Pointing out the gravity of situation, Additional SP (Rural), Suryakant Sharma along with SHO of Katangi police station, Puja Upadhyay reached the spot and started investigation into the case. Police immediately called the team of veterinarians for further investigation.

 

Additional SP (Rural), Suryakant Sharma informed that the in prima facie of the investigation it has been expected that the cattle were killed around 20-25 days back while some of the carcass are around 2-3 days old. Investigating the case, police have identified some suspects in Katangi area and police have started a search for them. It may be noted that, on June 23, a beheaded carcass of a calf was found in sacks in Mohla village in Katangi and police had arrested five accused involved in the killing of calf who were imprisoned. On the other hand, senior office-bearers and activists of Bajrang Dal raised demand for identifying and apprehending the accused involved in heinous crime otherwise they will stage a massive demonstration in coming days.
