Aaradhya Singh, a student of Bhavan’s BP Vidya Mandir, Ashti, has now come out to be the Vidarbha topper in Class X examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Dissatisfied with the marks scored in Science, he had applied for re-checking and revaluation of the subject. After revaluation, his score reached to a perfect 100, boosting his aggregate score to 498/500, with an impressive 99.60%. Aaradhya Singh had earlier scored 98 marks out of 100, with an aggregate score of 496/500 that came to 99.2%. He was confident regarding his performance in Science and under the able guidance of school Principal Vandana Bisen who, he said, guided and motivated him to apply for reassessment of his Science subject answersheet. Bisen had been monitoring Aaradhya Singh’s performance in Science throughout the session and she was confident that he would perform better in Science. Accordingly, she motivated Aaradhya to go ahead with the process of re-valuation.
The results of revaluation came and the total marks for the subject have gone up to 100 marks taking the aggregate to 498/500 with 99.60% making Aaradhya Singh the Vidarbha topper. Aaradhya and his parents attribute his success to his principal, his alma mater, and the dedicated team of teachers who were a constant source of guidance. Aaradhya also expressed gratitude for the school’s environment, which greatly influenced his achievement. Aaradhya is thankful to the conducive environment of the school and the role it played in his achievement. Aaradhya's father Vijendra Singh is a Central Government employee in Ordinance Factory, Ambazari and his mother Ranjana Singh is a homemaker. Aaradhya believes that focus and perseverance play key role in achieving success and has proved that no success can be attained without the magical combination of the right educator and a bright learner.
