Challenging the result of prestigious NEET examination, two students have filed petition in the Madhya Pradesh High Court. NEET-UG aspirants have alleged that National Testing Agency (NTA) has either released wrong result or involved in a scam. National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has also supported the allegation of students and staged demonstration in Bhopal. Demonstrators demanded CBI enquiry of the result. They said that NEET is the prestigious exam of country and top 13 students are having their roll number close to each other. According to a NEET aspirant in Bhopal (on condition of anonymity), “when answer sheet of NTA was matched with the response sheet, I was suppose to get 600 marks but in final result, I could score only 340. I am sure there is some scam.”

Nishita Soni, a resident of Kolar Road, Bhopal, said, “NEET-UG was held on May 5 and after 25 days, NTA sent the answer sheet key and response sheet via email. Response sheet was submitted by students in the exam hall and the copy we received on mail was scanned. When I matched the answers with key, I was suppose to get 617 marks, in reality I got 300 marks”. Another student Amishi from Jabalpur has challenged the result in the High Court. She alleged that 8 students from same coaching center have their roll numbers very close to each other. She said that all the eight students have scored 100 per cent marks. Amishi has scored 615 marks out of 720. NSUI has demanded CBI enquiry of NEET-UG result. On Saturday, NSUI demonstrated at Board Office. State President Ashutosh Chauksey said, “there are scams in NEET-UG result and result should be enquire by CBI.”
