NVCC delegation meets CP

A DELEGATION of traders under the banner of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) recently met Nagpur Commissioner of Police Dr Ravinder Singal and raised some of their concerns. The delegation under the leadership of President of the chamber Arjundas Ahuja highlighted that the issues of unathorisedhawkers,chainsnatching, growing cases of cyber crime and betting in the city are giving sleepless nights to citizens.
“The cases of betting on cricket are on the rise in the city.This has spoiled life and career of many traders. Even the youth are getting trappedinit andwe arealsowitnessingcasesofsuicideduetoit.Thepolicedepartment should take immediate steps to stop it,” said Ahuja. Vice President of the chamber Swapnil Ahirkar said commuters are facing hardship because of the ongoing work offlyovernearGolibarMaidan Square. “There is an urgent need of traffic police to control flow to traffic,” he said. Harmansingh Baweja, Hussain Noorullah Ajani, CA Sandeep Jotwani and others were also present.
