Sons return the favour

 

 

FONDEST are the memories of childhood. The home one grew up in, the grounds where one played, the school, the town all are forever etched in memory. But as one grows up and demands of livelihood takes one to distant places, these memories fade. Not for some, apparently, who remember and work to return the favour of their homeland. It was this very sentiment that played its part when Kansas-based IT company Info-Origin bought 4.5 acres of land on the outskirts of Gondia city.

 

For, its two owners - Ashishkumar Ganeshlal Chauhan and Sudhir Naresh Bisne - hail from Gondia and in Ashish’s words, “now with God’s grace we are in position to pay back.” Remembering their own dreams of dream jobs, Ashish and Sudhir, through their company, are planning to open doors of opportunity for youths of Gondia. In the first phase, Info Origin intends to provide jobs to 500 youths. The strength can gradually rise to 1000. The dream is to make Gondia an IT hub, informed Ashish Chauhan in a tete-e-tete with ‘The Hitavada’. The company’s new office campus is coming up at sprawling 4.5 acres of land near D P Resort on Gondia-Tirora road. This would be Info Origin’s national headquarter. The construction work has already begun and will have all facilities of a big company. The building will have 10 floors with all modern facilities. Amid lush green surrounding, the campus will have a tennis and basketball courts, gym, food court, cottages etc. Already, many people from Gondia have found employment in the company, many of them females.

 

“More than 50 percent of our tech leaders are females and they have proved their mettle,” says Ashish adding that some of these are the only earning members of the family. The story of their journey towards success is as amazing as their success itself. Both completed their initial education from Gondia. Ashish was a student of Gujarati National High School while Sudhir Bisne studied at Rabindranath Tagore High School. Both completed their graduation in Science from D B Science College before joining Engineering College at Ramtek. Following the usual course, they moved to Pune and then headed to US in 2002. After pursuing jobs in different companies, the two came together in 2010 and decided to start their own company. Info Origin Inc started in 2011.

 

As they say fortune favours the brave, the two also found a firm foothold in their field. “Info Origin (registered as Info Origin Inc in USA and as Info Origin Technologies Private Ltd. in India) is an emerging leader in low code development platform. We provide visually appealing apps at cost effective options. We develop and provides faster apps having speed and impact in platform one. We are working in data service and expanding our focus on AI (Artificial Intelligence),” says Ashish adding that At present, AI contributes some 8 percent to the GDP of the country and its share ie very likely to move up. The company has offices in Kansas (USA), Delhi, Pune and Gondia. When asked why they have chosen Gondia for their Headquarters, he attributed their choice to the special connect with Gondia that the two had. Of course, it is their native place but there is more to it. Ashish explains, “there is lot of work hunger among youths in the tier 3 cities like Gondia. They are highly skilled as well. We want to develop smaller cities like Gondia as a software hub and may succeed in doing so in coming years, says a very hopeful Ashish. Very recently, Info Origin has signed a MoU with Delhi IIT and will work together in LLM (large language model) and other sectors. The company has also tied up with few reputed engineering colleges of the region where it provides academic internships to students.
