Presi- dent Droupadi Murmu has accepted the resignation of Banwarilal Purohit as the Governor of Punjab and the administrator of Chandigarh, according to a communique issued by the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Purohit had tendered his resignation in February this year citing personal reasons.
