Vedic Mahindra Skill Development Centre will behub of employable manpower creation: Gadkari

INAUGURATING the Vedic Mahindra Skill Development Centre here on Sunday, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari the new facility will be a hub for skill generation and employable manpower creation, meeting the demands of Vidarbha’s growing number of industries. “The industries coming in a large numbers into Vidarbha will get skilled workers at the local level,” he added. The centre isajoint initiative of the Vidarbha Defence Industries Association (VDIA), MahindraTractors, and Yantra India Limited. The centeris equipped with thesestate-of-the-art facilities set up at the Zilha Parishad school in Ambazari area.
The project has become a reality with the efforts of Vidarbha Defence Industries Association, Mahindra Tractors, Yantra India Limited and support from The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Gadkari emphasized the importance of proper coordination between engineering colleges, skill development centers,and industries to meet future demands and create skilled manpower.
