Adiwan makes winning start

 

 

YOUNG talented player from Kamptee Ajay Adiwan made wining start in the Aditya Diddee Memorial Cup Open Snooker Tournament. In his opening round match, Adiwan blanked Yogesh Padole 2-0 with scores reading 56-36, 58-31. In an other match on Saturday, Aman Khan also scored an identical 2-0 win over Dhruv Agrawal taking the frames at 87-14, 92-12. Results: Pranabh Ghosh beat Piyush Bhimalwar 2-1 (40-46, 73-41, 72-19); Omkar Umate beat Gurbaksh Wadhwani 2-0 (67-12, 91-25). In a second round match, Omkar Umate pip Pranabh Ghosh 2-1 (12-86, 60-41, 61-40).
